Runway Project Updates
Our Travel Project is heading into a busy month in June with the enthusiastic response to the launch of the Swedish market, they plan to continue their success and aim to reach more customers for the coming 2013-2014 trips to Turkey.
During May, we are training Dutch agents in our European Pet Food Chain project. They are handling emails at the moment to prepare themselves for going online for the launch of the Dutch market in June.
The agents will be taking calls in the customer's native language. Customer service for the Dutch market was only previously available in English. Many of our Dutch agents are coming from our Travel Project and will be cross-utilized between the two projects whenever needed.
Norwegian Air Introduces Our Kiev office
Our office in Kiev is located in a modern and newly built office building on the left bank of the river Dnieper in the district of Darnytsya. It was first mentioned in written work around the year 1509. The modern Darnytskyi Raion was founded in April of 1935.
On 29th of April, eight Runway employees started training in our new office in Kiev (Ukraine). After one week training in the booking department, 5 of them will continue with training on e-ticketing.
On 13 of May will start Norwegian Language Courses for 10 future Norwegian Air employees. At the moment we are in process of selecting right candidates.
In Norwegian Air project, we are recruiting heavily in all offices for the upcoming busy summer season.

Introducing our Malaga office
The office was opened in October 2012 with Norwegian/Swedish speaking agents providing services for our Norwegian Air client. Our office is located in Benalmádena which is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. The municipality is situated approximately 12 kilometers to the west of the city of Málaga.
Currently, we are based in a small office (approx 250 square meters) with the intention of moving into a bigger and better establishment (approx 1000 square meters) as soon as possible, which in Spain means in about 6 months.
The office has grown to include Danish team members since November 2012 and Finnish team members from February 2013. We have continued to grow with new team members joining us in March and April this year.
Since the beginning, we have been providing booking services for Norwegian Air but have now added Customer Relations (team members responding to written complaints) and Customer Relations Management (drafting and setting-up of newsletters, web/client dialogues).
As of today, we have a total of 25 employees. All except one are native Danish, Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian speaking.
We are very happy to have Malaga join the Runway team of international offices and look forward to a prosperous and exciting summer as we head into our busy season with Norwegian Air.

Updates from our Runway Estonia Offices
Travel Project has successfully launched the Swedish market on March 15th. The new market broke all records we have had so far by generating over 1700 calls and we have booked over 1400 customers during the first weeks of opening.
In Tallinn, we have started a new outbound sales type project with Global Advertising Group which is a well-respected client in the business of airline related advertising. They produce the in-flight magazines for many well- known airlines, as well as produce their boarding pass ads. The project started with just 5 people but has the potential to grow much larger.
European Pet Food Chain project is going steady on the Finnish, Swedish and Danish markets. We are also getting ready to start with the Dutch market in May as some of our Travel Project team members join the Client's team. The plan is to start taking calls in June so we wish them luck in starting a new market.
Norwegian Air is gearing up for the summer as well. We recently opened an office in Malaga, Spain handling calls on the Swedish & Norwegian, Finnish and Danish markets. We are also opening an office in Kiev with 5 Norwegian speakers on the Booking lines from May.
We now have several projects running here at Runway and they have different staffing needs throughout the year. While some projects are winding down their busy season, others are just getting started. This is great for Runway as we are able to use our best resources (our Team Members!) to fulfill our client’s needs. April and May will see some staffing changes between projects as we shift our people to where they are needed most. Cross-utilizing agents between projects will become a very important tool for managing and optimizing our resources. Our Team Members will benefit from learning new skills and increasing their opportunities for growth and development.
We are looking forward to a very fast-paced and exciting Spring!
